4Ward Photography, LLC

Copyright Ownership
All photographs, digital images, videos, artwork, graphics, and other visual content created by 4Ward Photography, LLC ("4Ward Photography," "we," "our," or "us") are protected by United States Copyright Law.
Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement, all images and visual content created by 4Ward Photography remain the sole intellectual property of 4Ward Photography, LLC.
The purchase of photography services, digital files, prints, products, or image downloads does not transfer copyright ownership to the client.
Client License for Personal Use
Upon full payment and delivery of images, clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use their purchased images for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Permitted uses include:
Sharing images on personal social media accounts
Printing photographs for personal display
Creating albums, wall art, and gifts for family and friends
Personal archiving and storage
This license is granted only to the client identified in the photography agreement.
Social Media Usage
Clients are welcome and encouraged to share their images on social media platforms.
When sharing images, we appreciate (but do not require) credit to:

Clients may not claim authorship of the images or represent the work as their own.
Prohibited Uses
Without prior written permission from 4Ward Photography, clients may not:
Sell photographs or digital files
Submit images to publications, contests, or media outlets for commercial purposes
Use images in advertising or marketing campaigns
Use images to promote a business, product, service, or organization
License, transfer, sublicense, or distribute images to third parties
Alter images in a way that misrepresents the original work
Image Editing and Filters
The artistic editing style of 4Ward Photography is part of our creative work and brand identity.
Clients may:
Crop images for social media formatting
Resize images for personal use
Clients may not:
Apply filters that substantially alter the appearance of the image
Remove watermarks
Change colors, tones, or editing styles in a manner that misrepresents our work
Use artificial intelligence tools to modify images without written permission
Commercial Usage
Any use of photographs for commercial purposes requires a separate written licensing agreement.
Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:
Business websites
Advertising campaigns
Marketing materials
Promotional content
Corporate publications
Product endorsements
Sponsorships
Media distribution
Commercial licensing fees may apply.
Copyright Infringement
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, sale, or commercial use of any image created by 4Ward Photography constitutes copyright infringement and may result in legal action.
4Ward Photography reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable copyright laws.
Model Releases and Promotional Use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients who sign a model release grant 4Ward Photography permission to use photographs for:
Portfolio display
Website galleries
Social media content
Marketing campaigns
Advertising materials
Educational presentations
Industry competitions and publications
Clients who choose not to grant promotional usage rights must notify 4Ward Photography in writing before their session or as outlined in their photography agreement.
Third-Party Vendors
Professional labs, print vendors, album manufacturers, and fulfillment partners may receive image files solely for the purpose of producing purchased products and fulfilling client orders.
These vendors are not granted ownership rights to any photographs.
Image Storage and Archiving
4Ward Photography makes reasonable efforts to maintain image archives; however, long-term storage of client photographs is not guaranteed.
Clients are responsible for downloading, backing up, and safeguarding their delivered digital files.
We recommend maintaining multiple backups, including cloud and external storage solutions.

All text, photographs, logos, branding elements, graphics, designs, and website content displayed on www.4wardphoto.com� are the property of 4Ward Photography, LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.

Refund, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
4Ward Photography, LLC
Session Retainers
To secure a session date and time, a retainer payment is required.
Retainers are non-refundable because they reserve time on our calendar and may prevent us from accepting other bookings.
A booking is not confirmed until the required retainer and signed agreement have been received.
Client Cancellations
If a client chooses to cancel a session, the retainer will not be refunded.
Any payments made beyond the retainer may be refunded at the sole discretion of 4Ward Photography, less any expenses already incurred.
Rescheduling
We understand that life happens.
Clients may request to reschedule a session with at least 72 hours' notice whenever possible.
One complimentary reschedule may be granted at the discretion of 4Ward Photography.
Additional rescheduling requests may be subject to fees.
Weather Policy
For outdoor sessions, weather conditions may require postponement.
4Ward Photography reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to:
Rain
Severe weather
Unsafe conditions
Excessive wind
Other circumstances affecting image quality or safety
Weather-related reschedules do not result in refunds.
Photographer Cancellation
If 4Ward Photography must cancel due to illness, emergency, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond our control, clients will be offered:
A rescheduled session, or
A full refund of payments received
If a substitute photographer is arranged and accepted by the client, no refund will be issued.
Digital Products
Because digital photographs are custom-created and delivered electronically, all sales of digital images, downloads, and edited files are final.
Refunds will not be issued once digital products have been delivered.
Prints, Albums & Products
Custom products including:
Prints
Albums
Wall art
Canvases
Cards
Specialty products
are non-refundable once production has begun.
Damaged products must be reported within 7 days of delivery for replacement consideration.
Image Satisfaction
Photography is an artistic service.
Clients acknowledge that they have reviewed 4Ward Photography's portfolio and understand the style, editing approach, and artistic vision of the photographer.
Differences in artistic preference do not qualify for refunds.
Chargebacks
Clients agree to contact 4Ward Photography directly regarding any concerns before initiating a credit card dispute or chargeback.
Unauthorized chargebacks for services rendered may be contested using signed contracts, invoices, communications, and proof of delivery.
Recommended for Your Business
For your senior, family, and portrait sessions, I'd suggest:
25–50% non-refundable retainer
One free reschedule
No refunds after the session has been photographed
No refunds once digital files are delivered
That structure is common among established portrait photographers and provides solid protection while remaining fair to clients.
